Odd Fellows Pioneer Lodge #1 was founded in 1864 by miners in the Idaho Basin who had arrived to try and strike it rich in the Gold Rush. The current lodge has was built in 1875 and has been in continuous use ever since by members of the lodge. The hall has been preserved in its original condition to provide a living reminder of the kind of frontier Odd Fellowship which was vital to the settling of the American West. Owyhee Lodge #2 was chartered during the Gold Rush in Idaho in the 1860s. It is one of the surviving organizations from Idaho's pioneer days. The original regalia for the lodge was made with real silver mined in Silver City, Idaho. We meet on the fourth Saturday of June and August at 1:00 PM. You may contact us at mernadeland@gmail.com.
